WHO ARE THE LIONS?

Community    Events

Lions are ordinary people within their local community who willingly volunteer some of their time to humanitarian causes in the local and global communities.

To achieve this, they become members of their local Lions Clubs.

Lions are members of THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LIONS CLUBS, which is usually abbreviated to LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL.

This is a global community service organisation that is dedicated to the idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why.

LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL is the world's largest service organization, with approximately 1.3 million members serving in 202 countries and geographical areas.

Kirkham & Fylde Rural Lions Club has a meeting on the fourth Monday of the month at Kirkham Conservative Club, Ribby Road, with meetings starting at 8:00 PM where we discuss various events in the coming months.

Our aim is to serve the community and assist in projects which will benefit the quality of life for all within the local and global communities.
